建築大工による木造帆船の大規模レストア。船内はチーク材を随所に使用した歴史を感じる優雅な空間。船体の美しい曲線と佇まいが魅力の本格的なクラシック帆船「クレオパトラ号」。船齢43年を迎え、腐食衰耗による経年劣化等により、航行困難となっていたこの帆船の修繕に建築大工が挑み、「ヴィンテージ」の魅力と技術を後世へと繋ぐ。

A Large-Scale Restoration of a Wooden Sailing Vessel by Master Carpenters
The Cleopatra is an authentic classic sailing yacht, restored on a grand scale by skilled architectural carpenters.
Her interior, richly appointed with teak wood throughout, evokes a sense of history and refined elegance. The yacht’s beautifully curved hull and dignified presence are central to her timeless appeal.
Having reached 43 years of age, the vessel had become difficult to sail due to age-related deterioration such as corrosion and material fatigue. In response, master carpenters undertook the challenge of restoring this sailing ship, preserving its vintage charm while passing on traditional craftsmanship and techniques to future generations.
